Big Brother link goes down as Nick is rumbled
The Big Brother internet link - which should be running 24-hours a day - went down for two hours today when it looked like there could have been a major confrontation. A Big Brother spokesman said: "The online producer panicked and hit a panic button which brought the internet down between 4am and 6am. It was a mistake, it shouldn't have happened and won't happen again." However he added that Nick did not come to blows with Craig and Darren -they quietly seethed after finding out about Nick's schemes. Big Brother bosses are expected to make a decision about Nick's fate later today. He has already been given a verbal and written warning. Nick has become a hate figure to viewers as they have witnessed his singular determination to snatch the prize by being the last contestant left in the house. He has plotted behind the backs of his fellow contestants with the cover of being an all-round nice guy. At today's discussion in the kitchen of the east London house, Darren asked him: "Do you really, really want £70,000? Is that why you want to win?" Nick conceded: "I've done something wrong." Darren and Nichola both described him as "sick". Melanie told him: "I think you should walk." And Darren said: "No-one is going to trust you - you might as well take your stuff and go." Nick admitted that he was likely to figure in the nomination list next week and be voted out by viewers because he had fallen foul of the other contestants.
