Kick Nick campaign fails The makers of Big Brother have foiled a campaign by the Sun newspaper to try to contact the contestants to warn them about two-faced Nick's behaviour. The newspaper hired a radio-controlled helicopter to drop 80 leaflets into the compound. The message on the leaflets read: "To all Big Brother contestants.....This is a heartfelt plea from the readers of The Sun. "For the sake of all the viewers who love Big Brother....Nicholas must go. We're sick of the sight of him and he bitches about you all behind your backs." The scheme is part of the newspaper's Let's Kick Nick campaign to oust city slicker Nick Bateman from the house. The public has so far been denied the opportunity to vote him out because none of his housemates have nominated him. But Big Brother got wind of the scheme and ordered the housemates inside the house while the helicopter flew over. None of the messages dropped into the garden and the 20 that dropped inside the compound were picked up by security guards. A spokesman for the programme says none of the contestants saw the leaflets. He said: "Most of them didn't land in the compound. We told the contestants to gather in the girls' bedroom then sent in security personnel to check the garden and roof. They just thought there was a technical problem."
