A one-armed lesbian, a body builder and a barrage of eggs - and that's just day one! BIG BROTHER has really lived up to its name with a HUGE audience...and some of the BIGGEST behind-the-scenes stories the show has ever seen. After nearly SEVEN MILLION viewers tuned in to watch the first installment of the fly-on-the-wall game show, the News of the World can today reveal the sensational dramas they didn't get to see... The lesbian mother of contestant Jade Goody declared she FANCIED presenter Davina McCall then asked for CANNABIS before COLLAPSING off set as her daughter entered the house. The shocked mum of bodybuilder Adele Roberts only found out her daughter was taking part in the show when WE told her. And yobs PELTED the Big Brother house at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire with a barrage of eggs. Jade, 20, dominated the first show with her loud squawky voice, telling housemates: "Half my family is gay." But last night it was unclear whether Big Brother had broken the news to her about her mum Jaqueline Budden, who is estranged from Jade's dad. Lesbian Jaqueline, who lost an arm in a motorbike accident, suffered an asthma attack when she became distraught at the thought of not seeing her daughter for weeks. She was rushed to hospital but released later. Earlier Jaqueline revealed she fancied presenter Davina McCall. She said: "Davina doesn't know I'm a lesbian but I'd love to get hold of her. She's got a great bum. But what I really want is a spliff. Someone give me a spliff." Meanwhile, the first that 23-year-old housemate Adele's mum knew about her role in Big Brother came when the News of the World broke the news to her—just one hour before the series kicked off. Shocked Jackie, 39, a counsellor in Southport, insisted: "It's not true. My little girl wouldn't do something like that without telling her mum." However, just minutes after the programme started at 9pm, Jackie threw open the door and beamed: "I can't believe you lot knew and I didn't. "But I'm not upset. She's a lovely girl and a great daughter. The viewers will just love her." The first security scare of the series came within hours of the start when two teenagers hurled eggs at the house. But they only managed to reach the outside fence, which is 15ft high. Housemates who were still up at 4am were ordered into the boys' room while security guards dealt with the louts. Twice as many viewers tuned in to the start of Big Brother 2002 as they did of last year's series. In fact the show was only topped by Have I Got News For You on BBC1, as 7.5million switched on to see Angus Deayton get monstered by panellists in the wake of our story about his cocaine-fuelled romps with a hooker. But Big Brother could still top the ratings. Last night it emerged bosses are considering introducing two couples into the house in five weeks to spice things up. First indications from the show's website reveal blonde Katie Lawler is the viewers' favourite with motormouth Jade bottom of the approval ratings. But Jade provided the sauciest moment so far, showing her boobs as she put on a bikini top.
