BY EMILY SMITH BIG BROTHER’S Lee Davey gave gorgeous former housemate Sophie Pritchard a big kiss yesterday, then revealed: “Yes, we ARE a couple.” Flirty Lee had tried desperately to ignore his feelings for the 25-year-old brunette after he was booted out of the house in June. But yesterday he admitted he had dumped girlfriend Carmen — and declared that his love for Sophie was simply meant to be. When Lee left the house — two weeks before Sophie’s eviction — he told The Sun he still loved blonde waitress Carmen, his lover for nearly FOUR YEARS. He even took the 22-year-old on a romantic holiday to Jamaica to patch things up after she objected to his TV flirting — kissing Sophie and holding hands. Then on holiday, Carmen dropped a bombshell — telling Lee he mustn’t see Sophie again. Lee said: “I couldn’t have carried on not being able to see her, I just feel so much for her. “She’s really attractive, she’s got a fantastic body and she’s got a wicked personality. All my mates think she’s stunning too — I’m a really lucky guy.” The muscleman finally told Carmen the truth on Thursday. Lee, from Leicester, added: “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. There were tears, we were both really upset. “She is jealous and she knows I’m attracted to Sophie. I had to be honest with her. “Now I really want to make a go of things with Sophie. Sophie arrived in the house to replace quitter Sunita Sharma — and it changed her life. She had a rendezvous with Lee yesterday near her home town of Marlow, Bucks. Sophie said: “Sunita did me the biggest favour. She walked out of Big Brother which allowed me the chance to get on the show — and I got to meet Lee. “I’m a big believer in fate and I think this was meant to be.” But Sophie said she never intended to steal another girl’s man — she just could not help her feelings for Lee. She said: “Carmen probably hates my guts and she’s entitled to, but it wasn’t my intention to steal Lee from her. The last thing I wanted was for him to dump her because of me. “I don’t want people to think I’m a relationship-wrecker. It was his decision. The pair are still living apart — and waiting to spend their first intimate night together. Sophie is living in London, but will soon be off to Ibiza as a reporter for Channel 4 show RI:SE. Lee, who has appeared as a stripper with the Dream Boys, has now moved back up to Leicester. But Sophie said: “We’ve been speaking on the phone and texting each other every day. “We can’t wait to spend some proper time together. “The distance is not ideal but I really want this to work and so we’ll work at it. “It’s too early to say it’s love yet ... but who knows what is going to happen.”
