GINGER TIM??

1 Jul 02

LETS' talk about Tim. We need to talk about Tim because no-one seems to want to talk to him. Isolated on the rich side of the Big Brother house, away from what passes for civilised company, Tim is lost.

He tells anyone who passes the poor side of the cage that he is lonely. He implores Jade, Jonny, Kate and PJ to send help. With nothing helpful to hand, the group hatch a plot to send themselves.

Jade tries to get Adele and Alex to join in but Adele wants none of it. Having already decided that Jade is to be new victim, Adele turns on her former friend, belittling her resolve to break the rules and step across the divide.

And while they argue, Tim wallows in self-pity. Oh, and he does his hair. Tim loves to do his hair. He loves to primp it, style it, tweak it and finally spay it with some kind of aerosol anti-ginger serum.

But the roots are beginning to show and Tim could soon be sneaking over to the poor side's garden to remove charcoal from their fire to rub into his hair.

That's if he doesn't do to his head what he does to his chest and shave the hair off.

Tim is alone, and having seen him in action, it's a place he probably likes best.

£100 on a mag ...
that is rich, Tim

By DUNCAN LARCOMBE

POSH Tim Culley sparked fury in the Big Brother house yesterday by blowing £100 on a MAGAZINE.

The only housemate on the “rich” side this week had £400 to spend and went for the mag and a host of other luxuries.

Ex-public schoolboy Tim, 23, also chose tiger prawns, lobster, 11 bottles of wine, ten bottles of beer and a £25 hand-rolled cigar.

He also stocked up on chocolate spread and ciabatta bread “just for the sake of it”.

Poseur Tim said: “It’s pointless getting flour, I don’t know what to do with it.”

He finds out which magazine he will get tomorrow. Big Brother priced mags at £100 to deter housemates catching up with the news.

The other six housemates — confined to the poor side after failing the weekly task — were disgusted.

Jade, 21, fumed: “How much have you spent on that mag? I can’t believe we’re in poverty and you’ve got all that spare cash.”

Jonny said: “Surely no magazine is worth that much.”

The poor side were so angry at the prospect of another week of chick peas that they threatened a mutiny.

PJ, 22, urged everyone to break through the barrier to the rich side — but Adele and Alex refused.

The revolt came after they bungled a chance to get the bars raised. They were asked questions about the house, but only Tim and Kate answered correctly — and went through to the rich side.

Kate then took an extra question in a last bid to have the bars removed.

But she failed to name this year’s 14 Big Brother contestants in alphabetical order and was relegated to the poor side.

Jade came out with another gem in the quiz.

Asked to name two vegetables in the garden beginning with S, she blurted out: “Spinach, strawberries, spuds and sprouts”.

LAST night contestants were thrilled to get a rare treat — 40 minutes of the Glastonbury festival on TV.
