OPEN warfare has broken out in the House between Adele and Jade.

It's sensational stuff - but came totally out of the blue. One minute Jade was laughing and singing in the pool, and the next she almost came to blows with Adele.

It all started innocuously enough, when Jade burst into tears at the discovery of a wart on her finger and a second blemish on her foot. The wailing and crying went on for some time before Jade ended up chatting to Alex about it in the bedroom.

For some reason, she got it into her mind Adele had mocked her about having a verruca. "She said to me basically I was minging," Jade said to Alex, but this was nothing compared to what happened next. When Adele came into the bedroom to pick something up, the battle lines were drawn.

"Don't start me off, cos I didn't say that," Adele told Jade. "I told you you had a fungal disease on your skin," she clarified.

"You said Eeeuurrghhh," Jade shouted back.

"Stop f*****g making up lies," Adele spat. "Jade, you've got a fungus on your skin - that's it." Then, turning to Alex, she continued, "I'm not having her say what I did when I didn't. Who's drunk? Me or you? You're drunk, you're the one talking s**t."

Jade continued insisting that Adele had mocked her in front of the others, but Adele was truly hurt by this. "I don't care if you don't like me, don't you ever lie to other people about me," she continued.

Things reached a head when Adele said she was: "Going to f*****g deck you soon!"

"Really Adele? Well come back in here then," Adele goaded.

Adele then stormed out the room, leaving Alex to console the inconsolable Jade. It wasn't long before Jade was packing her bags and Alex was in tears. But will she walk?

THE House has been tipped on its head by the latest sensation: 'Wart-agate.'

The housemates discussed the Jade problem as she packed her bags and cried in the rich bedroom, seemingly preparing to cause a sensation by quitting the House.

Meanwhile Alex, unable to calm her down, burst into tears in the bathroom before retreating into the garden to lie under his duvet. "I've got a few things to think about," he told Adele on a night when the harmony on his rich side was blown apart for good.

"If she's that worried about going out, she shouldn't be drinking at all, because she makes more of a fool of herself when she is drunk," Tim reckoned.

The housemates on the poor side, who have been largely detached from the whole fracas, didn't quite know where to start.

Adele was still fuming and was in no mood for peace talks. "I don't want her to apologise. I've seen a different side to her now," she told Sophie, Spencer, PJ and Tim.

Spencer tried to put the matter into perspective. "I know it's not an excuse, but you do have to take into account she's been boozing."

Adele agreed, at least partly. "I said that to her, 'Why don't you just go to sleep and talk about it in the morning."

"She's loud though when she's had a drink," Kate added.

Adele suggested Jade might be worried about leaving the House - even though she has not been nominated this week.

At the time when was Jade crying her eyes out in the bedroom, the rest of the housemates didn't seem too bothered.

But can Big Brother persuade Jade to stay after this dramatic bust-up?
