THE housemates might be waiting with anticipation to greet Tim, but here at the official Big Brother website we've got our greedy mitts on his vital statistics - his original application form.

Tim is 23 and lives in Worcester. A recent graduate, he should provide would-be lawyer PJ with some competition as he boasts a Business Finance degree from Durham University.

He shares a star sign with fellow Aries, Alex, but will he also share the model's obsession with hygiene and cleanliness as he sets up on the rich side of the House for his first week?

Like others in the House, Tim is gutted to be cutting himself off from the World Cup. In fact, he cites missing England's upcoming matches and the Wimbledon championships as the things he will miss most from the outside world.

Housemates who love the outdoor life will be pleased to learn that Tim is a keen sportsman and tennis coach. He will also find an affinity with the travellers in the group - Sophie and Alex - as he was born in Kuwait and lived in Hong Kong for 10 years.

The latest incumbent may also get on swimmingly with Michael Jackson fanatics Spencer and Adele - he names his favourite song as 'Man in the Mirror' by the wacko superstar.

Tim will be exempt from eviction during his first week in the House. The soon-to-be housemate joins motormouth Jade in being unable to make any nominations this week.

Housemates decide where new arrival will live

The Big Brother housemates will decide where the new housemate, Tim, will live.

They have been told it is up to them whether he will live in the rich or poor house.

Jonny has said he would like to have Tim on the poor side as "it'd be a new playmate".

The girls on the rich side have suggested he should stay with them as "everyone else has started out on this side".

The housemates have been told the new arrival is called Tim and is 23 and an Aries.

They have been warned they are not allowed to ask him about what has been shown on television or what has been said in the newspapers.
