Alison Hammond last night became the
second contestant to be booted out of the Big Brother House — amid fears
of a huge betting sting.
Alison got 541,214 of the 1.4million votes
cast — just 1,027 more than second placed Alex. Third placed Sandy got
323,790.
The Sun revealed yesterday how top bookie
Coral had stopped taking bets on the eviction, fearing an organised gang
had got wind of the way the votes were going.
The odds on Alison being kicked out
plummeted from 8/1 on Tuesday to just 2/1 on Thursday after a flurry of
bets on her. Insiders had widely believed moody model Alex, 23, would face
the boot.
Alison, 27, put her hand over her mouth and
gasped “Oh no, I’m gutted” as host Davina McCall told her she was
leaving. Other contestants looked surprised.
She was hugged by pal Kate, who seemed
close to tears, before going off to pack.
She then broke down and sobbed: “I’m
worried I will look a slapper by the way I mess around with Jonny. My mum
is going to be so disappointed and mad.”
After the announcement, sour Scot Sandy,
43, smirked and said cryptically: “Somebody out there knows the
truth.”
But Alex stayed silent and looked miserable
at the decision to allow him to stay.
Earlier cinema boss Alison, from
Birmingham, revealed in the diary room that she planned to eat all the
food so she could laugh at the others if she was evicted.
Stroppy Lynne Moncrief, 36, last week
became the first person to be booted out.
Blonde Kate, 22, last night stunned viewers
by admitting she had starred in home-made porn flicks. She told PJ, Sophie
and Adele: “My ex-boyfriend has got about seven videos of us having sex
and five packs of photos.
But I trust him so I don’t think he would
sell them.”
