It might be unlucky for some, but 35-year old South Wales lass Lisa is going to hope that being the thirteenth member of the House is not a bad omen for her. The history-loving blonde is a big fan of EastEnders, has a tattoo on an interesting part of her body and has a "great passion to win".

The housemates have been stunned by the arrival of a new female housemate, Lisa, following the Saturday task.

Before meeting the new arrival from Penarth, near Cardiff, the group were clearly nervous after learning they would be depending on luck for the reward.

Ray was instructed to pick first and chose a long straw and was shortly afterwards joined on the sofa by Nush who celebrated her correct choice by hugging Ray. Big Brother then sent the pair to the Reward Room.

When Nush and Ray opened the door they were clearly taken aback when they saw a woman standing alongside their task rewards of pizza and champagne. Ray exclaimed: "Oh My God. I don't believe it."

Scott picked third, and on seeing that he too had picked a long straw, jogged off to collect his reward.

Steph apologised to Cameron and Gos after picking a long straw.

Scott and Steph were then instructed to enter the Reward Room and Steph stood open-mouthed when she realised she had a new housemate.

After admitting she gets "completely out of control" after drinking alcohol, Lisa said: "You have no idea how bizarre this feels. I have been sort of watching."

Cameron picked fifth and Gos was despondent when he saw that the Orkney fish trader had picked another long straw. But his disappointment didn't last long as he realised Big Brother had played a trick on them all by only placing long straws for them to select.
