The Scottish waiter threw his arms in the air and let out a cheer when he heard the news.

He is the fourth person to be evicted after Anouska, Justine and Sissy and is also the first male to be booted out.

In the first of tonight's double eviction special, Federico received more public votes than Jon and Cameron.

The public is voting to evict either Jon or Cameron later tonight.

Federico looked unconcerned and then pleased as he learned his fate, throwing both arms in the air and letting out a cheer.

As other male contestants shook his hand to bid him farewell, he said: "It's been a pleasure."

Tonight's evictions are restoring the boy-girl balance in the house.

The last three weeks have seen only girls - Anouska, Justine and Sissy - kicked out, leading to fears that the women were being picked off one by one by the voting public.
