TASK WINNERS AT LAST - THANK GOODNESS

DELIGHTED housemates were looking forward to a bumper feed last night after passing their first Big Brother task.

The group had gambled 85 per cent of their shopping budget on passing the barmy superhero challenge.

Had they failed, they would have had to survive on £12.37 next week.

But yesterday they sang We Are The Champions after successfully completing the task to earn a £152.63 budget.

The windfall means they can finally buy luxuries after failing their first three challenges.

In the latest task, housemates had to invent superhero alter-egos — and change into the appropriate costumes whenever prompted by Big Brother.

They then had to strike an heroic pose on a plinth
