The Tomatoes face the wrath of Jon

Three-times nominee Jon has done a David Bellamy and dived into the vegetable patch.

While Sissy reacted to her nomination by storming off, and Federico responded to his by pacing round inviting flies into his open mouth, Jon has taken a different approach by launching himself into the veggies.

The tomato plants were the main recipients of the Staines boffin's green fingers. He sat hunched over them, talking to them, humming to himself and generally sorting the plants out.

"No, I don't want you growing that long," he told tomato plant A, before spotting something that shouldn't have been residing on one of the leaves of tomato plant B.

"I don't know why you bother," he told the insect in question, "you know I'll find you."

To make the sight even more odd, Jon proceeded to hum Scott Joplin's Entertainer to himself for several minutes.

"Bollocks," he cried, after inspecting one of the plants further. "Over-watered."

"You're far too fucking bushy, look at you," he said to tomato plant B.

Has Jon's third consecutive nomination hit him harder than he cares to admit?
