BIG Brother flirt Helen Adams yesterday hinted she was finally ready and willing to make love with hunky Paul Clarke.

After a steamy clinch with him under a blanket, she confessed to gay housemate Brian that she wanted "a bit of fun".

But the couple have just three days left if they are to get it together inside the Big Brother house - for yesterday they were told they have BOTH been nominated for eviction on Friday.

Viewers must now decide which of the lovebirds gets the boot.

An insider at the Channel 4 show said: "This is going to be the biggest week on Big Brother so far.

"The whole nation will be watching to see what happens between Paul and Helen before they are separated."

Their "will they, won't they" romance took a new twist when Helen opened her heart to air steward Brian yesterday.

He advised the blonde hairdresser: "You've got to go with the flow and stop worrying about what other people are thinking." Then he asked: "Could you really have sex?"

She replied: "Without a doubt." And she added: "I never thought I'd be saying this - I think it's time for a bit of fun."

Brian said: "It seems to me that he wants to, but he's in an awkward position."

Earlier Helen, 23, had snuggled up with Paul in the den at 4am.

Paul, 25, asked: "You fancy me don't you? It's bloody obvious. And yeah, it's obvious that I fancy you."

They admitted they had fantasised about having sex together. Paul claimed the talk of her boyfriend had held him back.

Helen is unaware that jealous Gavin "Big G" Cox has dumped her. But as she cuddled in Paul's arms she said that relationship was not serious anyway.

Paul said being constantly on TV put him off too, and added: "I'm p****d off with that camera, I'm p****d off with that microphone.

"I'm p****d off you've got a boyfriend who you love and are going to marry. And then a few weeks down the line, that ain't happening any more, and you don't want to be with him. And now, you want to be with me.

"That's the way it is to me, unless I'm completely stupid." Helen replied: "You're not completely stupid."

She then said tantalisingly: "You have already kissed me once, but that was only on the cheek ..."

They could be heard kissing as they wrapped their arms and legs round each other under yellow blankets. But the moment was shattered by the cock crowing in the garden as dawn broke.

Angry Paul said: "Chicken, you are going to die." As they prepared to leave the den, Helen said: "I think we're getting too close."

Paul, his reservations still preying on his mind, said: "I've had a double fab time. But this situation is totally not cool. It is not cool at all."

The couple went separately to their own beds to stop housemates gossiping.

A show spokeswoman later claimed: "The groaning and hugging was just Paul giving Helen a peck on the cheek." But she admitted: "They intimately caressed under the covers."

The couple - who last week enjoyed a lovey-dovey dinner for two - made plans to meet up OUTSIDE the house when the show is over.

Paul said: "We both know how each other feels. And it's a pretty safe bet that the whole f*****g country does too."

But he said he feared Big G would be waiting when he is evicted.

He said: "If it was my girlfriend, I know I would be on the doorstep.

"I think it's a really good idea if he doesn't come down." Helen reassured him: "I don't think he will."

The previous day they had a play fight on the lawn, which ended when Paul suddenly stood up and said: "I love you."

They were nominated for eviction by all three remaining housemates - Dean, Elizabeth and Brian.

They took the news calmly at 5pm yesterday, saying it came as no surprise.

Helen said: "We knew it was going to be us two, didn't we Paul?

"But it's not nice that we've got to go up against each other. The votes are going to go through the roof."

Paul agreed: "It's not cool that there will be this popularity contest between us.

"But I won't mind if I go out against you because you will still be here
