LET'S HAVE A BIG BROTHER BABY
By EMILY SMITH BIG Brother flirt Helen told hunky housemate Paul "I love you" during their romantic dinner — then asked: "Can you imagine having a Big Brother baby?" But as a record number of live viewers tuned in to see if their cosy meal would end in nookie, Paul backed off, telling Helen: "I don't know if I would trust you." The pair had headed off to the Big Brother den alone after telly bosses set up candlelit dinners for the housemates. As the sexual tension rose, sozzled Helen, 23, sat on Paul's lap and flung her arms round him before confessing her love. Designer Paul, 25, swept
her up in his arms and threw her down on the pile of cushions — before
having second thoughts, saying: "That's not cool is it? That's
getting totally out of hand. Down boy!" And blonde Helen was heartbroken when Paul told her: "I don’t know if I would trust you. Sorry, that's just the way it is." But hairdresser Helen pleaded: "I would trust you with my life now. Can you imagine you and me walking down the aisle together? Having a Big Brother baby?" To the disappointment of viewers across the country, Paul then claimed he was tired — and the couple left the den. But the intimate chat continued later when Helen joined Paul and air steward Brian in the boys' bedroom. She told Paul: "I don't want you to back off." When asked how serious she was about Big G she said: "It's on and off. "I've had to deal with him and girls he works with going out for the night — so I don’t know what the problem is." A record 626,000 live viewers tuned in to digital channel E4 after 11pm to see if Paul and Helen would have sex — beating Channel 4 AND Channel 5. But a Big Brother insider said: "Paul knows viewers may turn against him if he steals somebody else's girlfriend." Even Paul's mum insisted Big G has nothing to worry about — because Paul is too nice. Jenny Clarke, 50, told The Sun: "Their romance shouldn't be taken seriously. Paul's a really nice boy and wouldn't encourage Helen to cheat." Gay housemates Brian and Josh also paired off for a meal, but rowed when Josh stole Brian's wine. Brian said: "We'll never be friends in here." Big Brother’s official bookies Paddy Power yesterday reckoned Helen WILL ditch Big G, with odds of 6-4. They gave 2-1 on her having a romance with Paul.
