YOU'RE FOR THE COOKING POT PADDY!!!

THE Big Brother housemates have blown their weekly challenge, which means they've got £24 to feed a family of six for a week. "That's my parting gift to you," said Amma with a smile when her dog-training skills proved not quite up to Barbara Woodhouse standards.

Paddy the dog failed to fetch his ball. And quite frankly, can you blame him? He's laughing though - he knows he's got a six-week exclusive with the Sun tied up, as soon as he's out of that house.

Amma seems convinced that she's leaving on Friday and I suspect she's right, given Paul's incredible Six Million Dollar Man powers of survival. Paul is growing more confident in the house with every week he manages to avoid eviction, even though it's clear that no one can stand him.

Yesterday the housemates were given an icecream maker for completing their soap opera successfully. As they whipped up some Magnums, they discussed each other's best assets. "What about me?" pleaded Paul. "Haven't I got great cheekbones?" to deafening silence. The boy does himself no favours, does he?

Elizabeth and Dean spent three hours last night bitching about the other flatmates. For a member of Greenpeace, Dean spends an awful lot of time stirring up trouble.

"They're all so immature," moaned Elizabeth at the grand old age of 27. Given the fact that her boyfriend is about 60, it's hardly surprising. She's probably used to spending her evenings discussing rationing and Dame Vera Lynn.

Meanwhile, comedy sleeptalking has been taking place in the boys' bedroom recently. "Do not talk about all the popular dogs in the world," demanded Dean, perhaps referring to an earlier conversation about members of Atomic Kitten.

Then Josh joined in with the classic: "Stroke my hair, I'm gonna be famous." Well, a boy's got to dream, hasn't he?
