NEW Big Brother star Josh Rafter, who entered the house in a blindfold last night, has rung up thousands of pounds in debts after a series of business flops, the Sunday People can reveal. Gay Josh bragged of making and then losing a million by running a nightclub and organising rave parties. But he forgot to mention he left others in the lurch with NINE county court judgments totalling more than pounds 25,000 against him. The 32 year old now runs a housing bureau for gays and lesbians called Outlet in Old Compton Street, London's homosexual mecca. Bookmakers William Hill are already quoting Josh at 6-1 to win, ahead of regulars Bubble, Elizabeth, Helen and Stuart. But despite cockily predicting he'd pocket the pounds 70,000 prize, Josh made no mention of paying off his companies' debts. Instead, he plans to throw a lavish PARTY for friends, BUY a luxury present for his parents' wedding anniversary, and make a DONATION to homeless charity Shelter. Josh said: "I am an uplifting and motivating person who always tackles subjects with vigour, enthusiasm, and intellect. "Throw me a challenge and I'll rise to the occasion, take people by the hand and lead them. "I believe I have an incredible lot to offer the household and viewers." Josh, who only told his parents he was gay last week after landing a place on the show, was once engaged to be married. One insider commented: "He strikes me as a bit of a Walter Mitty." But camp Josh is already facing his first Big Brother problem - where to sleep. Strict rules ban any of the contestants from moving beds around - and the only free bed is Penny's old one in the girls' room. So Josh can either join them - or share a bed with one of the lads!
